Nepal has recently experienced devastating flash floods in the Bhote Koshi and Rasuwa areas, causing loss of life, damage to homes and infrastructure, and severe disruption to communities. Families in affected areas are facing an extremely difficult situation as rescue, relief and recovery efforts continue.
At this critical time, people around the world are asking: “How can I help Nepal’s flood victims?”
At present, the Government of Nepal, security agencies, rescue teams and local authorities are working continuously to locate and rescue victims and provide emergency assistance.
The first priority is saving lives and reaching people who may still be trapped or in immediate danger.
Hands for Help Nepal believes strongly in humanitarian volunteering. However, volunteer safety and effective coordination must come first.
Active flood and landslide zones can be extremely dangerous. Without appropriate rescue equipment, technical expertise and permission from local authorities, it would not be responsible for us to mobilize volunteers directly into active rescue operations.
Once emergency rescue operations are completed and local authorities identify safe and appropriate areas for volunteer support, organizations like Hands for Help Nepal can contribute to relief, community recovery, education, health, sanitation and rebuilding efforts.
If you would like to make a direct contribution to the immediate flood response, we encourage supporters to donate directly to the Government of Nepal’s Prime Ministers Disasters Relief Fund through the official government channels.

Please follow Hands for Help Nepal on our social media channels for verified information and updates about how supporters can contribute.
If you would like to contribute a small amount through Hands for Help Nepal, you can support our humanitarian initiatives through PayPal: info@handsforhelpnepal.org.
Every contribution, whether large or small, can help support Nepal’s affected communities during the difficult journey from emergency relief to long-term recovery.
Nepal does not only need help during a disaster. It needs committed partners for the long road of recovery.
Hands for Help Nepal remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities through responsible volunteering, community development and humanitarian initiatives.
Together, we can help Nepal rebuild—safely, responsibly and with compassion.
