Combining volunteer programs with Everest Base Camp Trekking provides a unique vacation, Listed UNESCO Natural world heritage sites, Home of Sherpa Peoples, and Stunning Mountain Views, the Khumbu region boasts some of the most extraordinary high mountain scenery on earth. After flying into Lukla, the trek to Everest Base camp takes us via the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar. Here, we ascend Kalapathar 5545m which is one of the finest vantage points for Mount Everest (8848m./29035ft.). Crossing into the Khumbu Valley by way of the high and challenging Cho La (5420m./17780ft.), we then climb to the trekkers’ summit of Kala Patar (5600m./18370ft.) which affords more stunning views of Everest and of the astonishing Khumbu Icefall. We explore Everest Base camp, before trekking out by way of the famous and recently restored monastery at Thyangboche Monastery. This circuit of the Everest National Park provides a comprehensive taste of the Khumbu that is hard to beat within a 3-week adventure.
Itinerary of Everest Base Camp Trekking
Day 01:
Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our staff member waiting to receive you at the airport with holding a placard that will state group name then transfer to the require hotel. Depending in flight arrival time, you will have time to explore touristy market Thamel after having refreshment in the hotel. In the evening, Hands for Help Nepal official will meet you to sort out official documentation and briefing about the trek.
Day 02:
Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.
After having breakfast, our tour leader will escorts you to explore Kathmandu heritage sites linste. First, you will visit to the Swayambunath, known as monkey temple. The monkey temple is located in the western part of the main Kathmandu center point, on the top of a hill. The temple comprises shrines for Buddhist and Hindu Religi
Day 03:
Fly to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2804 meters) from Kathmandu, trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 04:
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 05:
Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 06:
Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 07:
Trek to Dingboche (4350 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 08:
Day trip to Chhukung valley (4710 meters) and trek back to Dingboche. 4 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 09:
Trek to Lobuche (4910 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse
Day 10:
Trek to Gorak Shep (5180 meters) then hike up to Kalapathar (5555 meters) back to Gorak Shep. 7 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 11:
Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 meters) then back to Lobuche (4910 meters). 7 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 12:
Trek to Pangboche (3930 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 13:
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 14:
Trek to Lukla (3404 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 15:
Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16:
